Sometimes you feel so good that you want to break things; resolutions, for instance!!! Like me, I promised myself that I won’t do more than one blog post a week. But what to do? When I spotted these films made by ‘special’ young adult filmmakers at the FTII Pune Facebook page – I just had to bring them to your attention.
Remember my post a few weeks back; about a Smartphone film-making course for young adults with intellectual challenges conducted by Ajmal Jami at IIMC, Delhi. For those who are clueless about what I am talking about please check my former post. I insist.
Well, the first batch of that first-of-its-kind course have got their certificates now, and at least three films made by those aspiring film makers are out in the open.
Like I promised, I bring them for you.
A note of caution though; this is a whatsapp downloaded video collage. To see the real good quality videos – you should go to the Facebook page of FTII Pune – to their official videos section. Also keep tracking that page for future uploads.
Here are a few glimpses from their valediction ceremony.
It seems those young filmmakers had lots of fun during the workshop. Here’s a small ‘making’ video of the workshop. I enjoyed watching it.
With Ajmal Jami (AJKMCRC, 1985) as Course Director, Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Delhi provided infrastructure support while Indian Oil sponsored the Course.
That’s all for now; see you when I see you.
